Tigers in Fifth at Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - - The Mizzou women's golf team is in fifth place after two rounds of play at the Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. The Tigers shot rounds of 308 and 306 on the first day of play. It's 614 total is two shot out of fourth place and four out of third.

Junior Chelsea Schriewer lead the was for the Tigers, standing in sixth place heading into the final round with two rounds of 75 on Saturday.

Senior Madde Augustsson and sophomore Julia Potter are among those tied for 19th place with a 36-hole total of 154. Sophomore Madison Marcolla is tied for 40th place wit a 159 total after two rounds, while fellow sophomore Michelle Morgan is tied for 42nd place with a 160 score. Sophomore Lindsey Haupt is competing as an individual in the tournament and is in a tied for 59th place with a two-round total of 168.

The final round will be played on Sunday.
