  • Posted averages of 2.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 28 appearances in his initial collegiate campaign.
  • Blocked 19 shots, a total that ranked tied for sixth all-time on Mizzou's freshman single-season chart.
  • Season-high two steals on the road at Auburn (March 4).
  • Complete effort on the road at Ole Miss (Feb. 25), recording eight points and a season-high nine rebounds, also posting two blocks for the fifth time.
  • Two blocks vs. Alabama (Feb. 15), his fourth game with multiple blocks this season.
  • Two blocks for the third time this season and second time since returning from injury in the game vs. Lipscomb (Dec. 29).
  • Posted five rebounds and two blocks (both matched season-highs) against Eastern Illinois after missing four games due to injury.

  • Traditional big man for head coach Nick Schroeder at Maple Grove High School, posting marks of 10.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game as a senior in 2015-16.
  • Blocked 80 shots as a senior, a total that ranked as the seventh-highest mark for any Minnesota high school player that season.
  • Underwent surgery to correct hip impingement following his last campaign at Maple Grove, with the procedure aiming to increase his mobility and flexibility.
  • Powered Maple Grove to a 23-4 record as a junior in 2014-15, averaging 9.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game.
  • Stood out as a sophomore in 2013-14, scoring in double figures in 12 of Maple Grove's 28 games.
  • Chose to wear the Black & Gold over offers from Kansas State, Minnesota and Iowa.
  • Played on the travel ball circuit for Net Gain.

  • Son of Kris Nikko and born on Aug. 31, 1998.
  • Knew upon making his official visit to the University of Missouri's campus in Fall 2015 that Mizzou was where he wanted to continue his academic and athletic career.
