Senior (Fall 2006): A native of St. Louis, she started the fall campaign in her hometown at the St. Louis Billiken Fall Classic ... Won her first two singles matches of the season, defeating Arkansas' Rachel Wilhelm in straight sets and Eastern Illinois' Sandra Sasisharan, to advance to the finals where she lost to SLU's Amanda Hellberg ... Later in the fall, she earned a victory over Big 12 foe, Chrissy Derouin, of Iowa State in the Mizzou Mock Duals ... Advanced to the Round of 32 at the ITA Central-East Championships ... Finished with a 4-9 overall record in the fall ... Started the fall off strong in doubles play, winning the Billiken Fall Classic Doubles Championship while teaming with Erika Josbena ... The duo also won the Minnesota Gopher Invitational ... Perhaps their biggest victory came in the quarterfinals of the Gopher Invitational when they defeated Iowa's No. 50-ranked duo of Hillary Mintz and Jacqueline Lee, 8-2 ... Finished the fall at 10-7 in doubles play.

Junior (Spring 2006): Pratzel finished the spring season with a 15-6 mark ... Had a six-match win streak to open the spring ... Played matches in the No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 spots during the spring and finished with a winning Big 12 Conference mark of 6-5 ... Had the team's lone victory against Baylor at No. 5 singles, defeating Rachel Clark, 6-0, 6-1 ... Also had impressive wins over Oklahoma's Brittany Baldy and Nebraska's Ewelina Skaza ... Finished the season by winning four of her last six singles tilts and went 11-10 overall in doubles competition ... Went 10-9 with Erika Josbena in those doubles matches ... Teamed with Josbena to record three Big 12 wins, defeating the Oklahoma State duo of Lauren Simmons and Iryna Tkachenko at No. 2, Oklahoma's Christi Baxley and Brittany Baldy at No. 3 and Texas Tech's Katja Kovacic and Erin Hunter also at No. 3.

College: In her freshman season at the University of Oklahoma, Amanda went 12-4 in singles play and 4-3 in doubles action...she finished her sophomore season with a 7-2 record in singles, and a 2-3 record in doubles play...she was undefeated in the Polo Tennis National Collegiate Preview in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2003 and 2005...while at Missouri State University in the fall of 2005, she finished with a 6-3 singles record

Prep: Played for Jason Holmes at Parkway Central High School...finished in the top three in the state tournament all 4 years of her high school career...finished her high school career with a record of 108-7

Personal: Daughter of Carol and Robert Pratzel...born Nov. 1, 1984...majoring in Nutrition and Fitness...played her first two years at the University of Oklahoma, and transferred to Missouri State for the Fall 2005 season...transferred to Mizzou because of tennis and academics
