FRESHMAN (2017-18)
- Played her way up to No. 2 singles by the end of her freshman season
- Also saw action in all three doubles spots
- Earned a win at No. 3 singles against Ole Miss
- Went 2-4 at No. 2 and 3-2 at No. 4 singles on the year
- Went 5-5 in doubles with three different partners, including a 2-2 mark at No .1
JUNIOR TENNIS
- Had a trio of ITF Junior doubles finalist matches to her credit, as well as a singles semifinal appearance in the 2017 ITF Junior event in Austin.
- Won the 2017 Texas Adult Masters Championships.
- Won the 2017 USTA Texas Nancy Jeffett Sportsmanship Award.
PERSONAL
- Comes from an athletic family: Her father, David, played baseball at Texas State; her mother, Kimberly, was offered a volleyball scholarship at Florida. In addition, her uncle is former All-Star and World-Champion member of the Toronto Blue Jays, Kelly Gruber.
- Graduated a semester early from high school, allowing her to enroll at MU in the Winter 2018 Semester.
- Undecided on a major.
- Daughter of David & Kimberly Gruber.
