  • Went 4-2 at the Cougar Clash (Dec. 7) and placed fifth 
  • Made a run at Reno TOC (Dec. 22), placing second with a 4-1 record while wrestling unattached
  • Runner-up at the Soldier Salute (Dec. 29), losing in the final with a last-second takedown by No. 14 Kysen Terukina (Iowa State)
  • His near defeat of Terukina was enough to be ranked No. 33 at 125 pounds by FloWrestling (Dec. 30)
  • Wrestled unattached at the Cyclone Open (Jan. 19), going 3-1 and securing fifth place
  • Earned the 125-pound title at the Missouri Valley Open with four consecutive wins, wrestling unattached 
  • Closed the season on a high note with seven consecutive victories, marking his longest win streak of the year

BEFORE MIZZOU

  • Ranked the 68th overall recruit in the 2024 class on the FloWrestling Big Board and 15th at 120 pounds
  • First-ever five-time Fargo Champion from Idaho
  • Four-time Idaho State Champion
  • A Triple Crown Winner in 2021 and 2022, which requires a wrestler to win USA Wrestling titles in freestyle, folkstyle, and Greco, in their age group in the same season
  • Mauger was the first wrestler to win a triple crown in both the cadet and junior levels
  • Wrestled for National Team Idaho for three years and in the All-Star Dual against Utah
