Las Cruces, N.M. - The University of Missouri women's golf team finished in eighth place at the Price's Give `Em Five Intercollegiate, which wrapped up today at the New Mexico State Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. The competition was the fall season finale for Head Coach Tom Loyd's squad.

The Tigers were tied for fourth place heading into today's final round, but a team score of 323 on Tuesday knocked them down to eighth. MU opened with team rounds of 302 and 298 on Monday.

Individually, senior Amelia Moses tied for 12th place, with a three-round total of 225. Indicative of the team's struggles today, Moses shot an eight-over par 80 on Tuesday, after being just one over par through the first two rounds of play (73-72).

Freshman Elin Ohlsson was next up for Mizzou, with a total of 232, which left her tied for 30th place. Junior Nisha Sadekar tied for 42nd place (235), senior Jamie Tucker tied for 45th (236) and freshman Tara Jacobsen tied for 60th (241) to round out the Tiger competitors.

Missouri will begin spring play on Feb. 23, when they will travel to Dallas, Texas to compete in the Midwest Classic.
