Mizzou Tied for Lead at Legends of Indiana

FRANKLIN, Ind. - - The Missouri women's golf team is tied for first place after the first day of the Legends of Indiana Tournament in Franklin, Ind. The Tigers and Kent State are tied atop the leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 594.

Senior Denise Munzlinger turned in the best day for Missouri with a two-round total of 146 (74-72), one shot ahead of sophomore Madde Augustsson (76-71=147). Junior Stephanie Wavro finished with a 36-hole score of 148 (75-73), junior Lyndsey Adams finished with a 153 total (76-77) and freshman Ellen Hoeper shot a two-round score of 154 (77-77) in her first tournament as a Tiger.

"It was good for us to shoot some good scores and get some confidence under our belt," Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "Now we just have to maintain that confidence and carry it into tomorrow's final round."

Next up for the Tigers is the Legends of Indiana Tournament in Franklin, Ind. on Oct 10-11.
