COLLEGE STATION, Texas - - The Mizzou women's golf team will head into Sunday's final round of the Texas A&M `Mo'Morial in ninth place. The Tigers have a two-round total of 636 after a second round 320 on Saturday in College Station, Texas.
Senior Stephanie Wavro carded the best round of the day for the Tigers, with a two-over-par 74. She is tied for 12th place in the individual standings with a two-round score of 152. Sophomore Ellen Hoeper is in a tie for 16th place with a 36-hole total of 154 (76-78).
Junior Madde Augustsson, sophomore Chelsea Schriewer and freshman Julia Potter each carded rounds of 84 in the second day of play of the `Mo'Morial. Freshman Michelle Morgan is entered individually in the event and carded a 78 on Saturday. Morgan is tied for 44th place with a two-day total of 161.
Arizona State leads the tournament with 36-hole total of 599.
The third round will take place on Sunday at the Traditions Golf Club.
