Fisher, Nachev Take Triple Jump Titles at Razorback Invitational

Arianna Fisher set a personal best and a Mizzou indoor record in the women’s triple jump.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Track & Field completed the final day of the Razorback Invitational this evening with the Tigers sweeping both the men's and women's high jump competitions.
NOTABLE FINISHES
Arianna Fisher (San Jose, Calif.) captured the women's triple jump title at the Razorback Invitational. Fisher set a new personal best and top-10 indoor school record with a leap of 13.52m (44-4 ½) in the women's triple jump, beating her previous school record and personal best by 0.05m.
Georgi Nachev (Yambol, Bulgaria) set a new personal best in the men's triple jump. Nachev won the event with a jump of 16.28m (53-5), and is now second all-time for Mizzou indoor triple jump history, breaking his record in the process.
In the women's mile, Isabelle Christiansen (Oswego, Ill.) ran 4:51.59, setting a new indoor personal-best by approximately 10 seconds.
UP NEXT
Mizzou will take a week off before sending squads to both the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa, and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., February 11-12.
