
Tennis's Roso Makes the Round of 16 at ITA Regional

Mizzou tennis closed out day three of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional Championship. The Sunday slate featured sophomore Korina Roso and graduate student Mary Brumfield in the singles main draw.
First for the Tigers was Roso, who faced Martaa Chogsomjav from Kansas State. Roso pulled away, winning in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Roso moved on to the round of 16, taking on Kansas' Heike Janse Van Vuuren, but fell short of the quarterfinals, 1-6, 4-6.
Brumfield competed next in the round of 32, taking on Oklahoma's Chloe Noel. The match ended in Noel's favor, ending Brumfield's run, 3-6, 2-6.

UP NEXT
The Tigers head to San Diego State to close out the fall slate at the SDSU Fall Classic, November 7-9.
