Averi Kroenke to miss 2025-26 Season

Mizzou women's basketball guard Averi Kroenke sustained a lower-body injury that will keep her out for a significant portion of the 2025-26 season, head coach Kellie Harper announced on Monday.
Kroenke, a redshirt-junior, has averaged 2.0 points and 1.8 assists for her career. She will begin recovery immediately to return to action ahead of next season.
"We feel for Averi who has been the heartbeat of this team and are going to support her in every aspect of the recovery process," Harper said. "Although we look forward to having her back on the court, I am confident she will find ways to impact our program this year."
