
Women's Swimming Opens Competition at NCAA Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women's swimming competed in three events in Thursday's competition at the 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Washington.
In the preliminary round, Zara Zallen, a sophomore from Boulder, Colo., completed the 50 free with a time of 22.52. Karolina Bank, a junior from Lafayette, Colo., finished the 200 IM in 1:59.67.
The 200 free relay squad of Sierra Smith, Zallen, Katie Kuehn and Grace Hanson put up a time of 1:29.70 in the final competition.
Bank and Zallen will represent the Tigers in tomorrow's 100 breast competition. Freshman, Megan Jolly will make her NCAA Championships debut in 3-meter diving, and Mizzou's relay squad will compete in the 400 medley relay.
UP NEXT
The 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will continue Friday through Saturday at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way. The men's competition will be held March 26-29.
