
Men’s Golf Continues Play at SEC Championship

University of Missouri men's golf continued play at the SEC Championship on Thursday.
All five Mizzou golfers recorded scores between 72 and 76 during the second round. Graduate student Mattias Varjun led the team with his 72, tallying three birdies on the day. Veikka Viskari and Brock Snyder followed closely with a pair of 73s.
Junior Virgilio Paz carded a 74 and now leads Mizzou through two rounds of the tournament at +2 (68-74). Trent Mierl is second on the team at. +5 (69-76).
As a team, the Tigers are in 15th place with a score of +15.
The final day of stroke play competition starts on Friday morning with the Tigers teeing off at 8:40 a.m. CT.
