Track and Field Completes Day Three of NCAA West Regional Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Missouri track and field finished the third day of the NCAA West Regional Championships Friday with the men competing across two running events at John McDonnell Field.

RECAP

The 3000m Steeplechase saw two Tigers race for a spot in the NCAA Championship Final. Elijah Limo finished within the top 40% of the field, claiming 17th with a 8:44.14. The sophomore represented the SEC with the highest finish for the conference in the event. Junior Joshua Allison notched the second highest SEC placement, taking 35th with a 9:00.28.

Dillon Leacock raced in the 400m Hurdles Quarterfinals after qualifying with a personal record on Wednesday. He crossed the finish line in 50.37 to place 16th, his second fastest result of the season.
