
Track and Field Travels for Tyson Invitational and Valentine Invitational

The Tigers will take trips to Fayetteville and Boston for the final meets of the regular season.
Mizzou track and field closes out the regular season indoor competitions with two road meets to the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass., on Feb. 13-14.
TIGERS ON THE TRACK
A squad of 15 will hit the road to the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. to take on the Tyson Invitational against 49 other schools.
Senior Robert Hines is slated for the 60m after a win and season-best of 6.82 at the Missouri Invitational. Dillon Leacock will race in the 60m hurdles and 400m after tallying the program's 10th-best result in the latter. Andrew Hauser will run the 800m for the first time in his college career and will additionally compete in the 3000m with Joseph Bariola. After taking the victory at last week's meet, Yordanos Zelinski will join River Hardman in the mile. Mizzou's No. 7 weight throw squad looks to follow up another win with Sam Innes and Garik Pozecki set to compete. Chase Crawford will take on the shot put after registering a personal best of 17.74m (58-2.5) to claim the title at the Missouri Invitational.
On the women's side, Brianna Utecht will face the 60m hurdles to continue her season of achieving multiple personal bests. Sophomore Marlena Tresnjo will compete in the high jump Saturday morning and again that afternoon in an elite championship high jump event, squaring off against Olympian Anna Hall. Ames Burton and Reagan Kimrey will represent the 11th ranked weight throw group at the meet after Kimrey took home her second win of the season. In the mile, Natalie Barnard and Lily Ginsberg will race for the title.
A distance group of 16 will head to Boston University's Track and Tennis Center over the same two-day span. Finn Russell, Ethan Zuber and Carter Spradling will pace the men in the mile. Ryder James will join school record-holder Drew Rogers in the 3000m. Ethan Hogan, Tyler Freiner, Elijah Limo and Joshua Allison will represent the Black and Gold in the 5000m. For the women, Suzy Lecoutre, Charlotte Cullen, Morgan Yeomans and Allison Newman look to take on the mile. In the 5000m, a freshman squad consisting of Monica Wanjiku, Kobi Walker and Mirriam Chepkirui will go for the title.
