Freshman (2013-14): Tallied four double-doubles on the season, the second-most on the team behind senior Bri Kulas...led the Tigers with an average of 6.9 rebounds per game and 38 blocks on the season... set her career-high with 17 boards at UT Martin, and she also blocked seven shots in that game, tied for the third best single game mark in the league this season...Saw action in 31 games and earned the start in 24...averaged 22.5 minutes on the court.
High School: Frericks is a three-time Illinois Basketball Coaches Association First Team All-State nominee, and was named to the Third team after her freshman season...she was recognized as the Illinois Basketball Services Large School Player of the Year in 2013 and was the oly unanimous Associated Press All-State Selection in Class 3A or Class 4A...helped her team to two consecutive Illinois Class 2A State Championship titles, and a class 3A state championship with a 30-0 record in her senior season...averaged 16.4 points per game, 8.0 rebounds per game and 5.1 steals per game in her senior season while shooting 62.7 percent from the field...she finished her high school career as Quincy Notre Dame's all-time leader in points, rebounds and steals and finished with the fourth-most assists in school history...is a five-time Player of the Year Award winner as she was named the KHQA Girls Basketball Player of the Year twice, Quincy Herald-Whig Player of the Year twice and Illinois Basketball Services Small School Co-Player of the year after the 2011-12 season... finished in third place for Ms. Illinois Basketball in 2013 and in sixth place for Ms. Illinois Basketball in 2012 and was recognized for her outstanding talents on the court by several Illinois outlets...recognized on the Associated Press 2A First Team All-State and was also recognized as a First Team All-State player by the Champaign News-Gazette...was a Chicago Tribune All-State special mention and also a Chicago Sun-Times First Team All-State athlete...she is a four-year member of the academic honor roll...also helped her team to an Illinois State Soccer Championship
Personal: She is the daughter of Carol and Jay Frericks...sisters, Audra and Morgan Frericks played soccer for Eastern Illinois University and her father played basketball for Quincy University...she chose Mizzou over Kansas, DePaul, Illinois, Wisconsin and Wisconsin-Green Bay...in addition to basketball, Frericks played soccer during her high school career and was a member of the art club, Students Against Drunk Driving Organization and Student Council...spends her free time with friends and family and enjoys arts and crafts...would like to pursue an art-related career.
