John Moseley
- Induction:
- 1995
- Class:
- 1973
One of the most exciting players ever to play at MU, Moseley holds the distinction of being the only Tiger athlete to go from walk-on to all-American. A graduate of Columbia’s Hickman High School, he was a defensive back from 1971-73 and a daring kick return man. He ranked sixth in the nation in punt returns in 1973, with an average of 16.5 yards per return. For his career, he averaged 13.3 yards – still the school record.
