Mizzou moves to 9-7 on the season after falling 7-0 to Fresno State in California today. The Tigers had to default a singles match due to a knee injury that has been plaguing Urska Juric.
In doubles, Hana Kraftova and Lucie Ruskova picked up a win in the #3 position, but it wasn't enough to clinch the point. Urska Juric and Katka Sevcikova fell at #1 and Yelena Olshanskaya and Erika Josbena lost at #2.
The defaulted match put the Tigers down 2-0 before singles play began. They needed four singles matches to take home a win, but the Tigers couldn't pick up a win. At #1, Kraftova put up a good fight against 18th-ranked Jelena Pandzic, losing 6-3, 6-3. Freshman Erika Josbena came close with a three-set loss to Fresno State's Vlatka Jovanovic, losing 3-6, 6-2m 6-4.
The Tigers face #27 Oregon Tuesday in California.
