
Rousseau, Khamis Post Top Four Finishes on Final Day of Georgia Diving Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Freshmen Sarah Rousseau (Melbourne, Fla.) and Ike Khamis (Richmond, Ind.) each recorded top four finishes as the Mizzou men's and women's diving teams concluded competition at the three-day Georgia Diving Invitational Sunday in Athens, Ga.
KEY PERFORMANCES
Rousseau completed her strong weekend with a second-place finish on platform on Sunday. The freshman tallied a five-dive total of 255.15, which included four dives at least 51 points, to miss first-place by less than a point. She earned top 12 finishes on all three events at the Invitational, as she also took 11th on 1-meter and 12th on 3-meter.
In the men's platform competition, Khamis posted a score of 303.80 to nab third overall in the event. He posted at least 50.75 points on four of his six dives, including a round-high 58.50 on his first dive of the day.
Also earning top 12 finishes Sunday were senior Payton Conrad (Omaha, Neb.) and junior Will Gottsch (Elkhorn, Neb.). Both Tigers took 12th, with Conrad posting 211.95 points on the women's side and Gottsch earning a total of 276.70 in the men's competition.
