Lopez Takes Third on Platform on Final Day of Auburn Diving Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. - Mizzou freshman diver Carlo Lopez (Edmonton, Alberta) placed third on platform as the Mizzou diving program concluded action at the four-day Auburn Diving Invitational on Thursday morning. The Tigers combined to total five top four finishes at the event, including three top three placements.
TOP TIGERS
Lopez tallied a finals score of 361.4 to earn his third-place finish on Thursday, a score that was not far off his season-best total of 367.7.
Sophomore Ike Khamis (Richmond, Ind.) tied for fourth with 308.55 points and freshman Leonardo Garcia Varela (Cali, Colombia) was sixth with 297.75 points.
UP NEXT
The Tigers are idle until they travel to Baton Rouge, La., to take on LSU on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. CT.
