
Mizzou Opens NCAAs with 200 Medley Relay

ATLANTA – The University of Missouri women's swimming and diving team kicked off the first day of the 2022 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships with an 18th place finish in the 200 medley relay, moving up three spots from the Tigers' 21st seed.
The Tiger squad of juniors Meredith Rees and Alex Moderski and seniors Sarah Thompson and Megan Keil posted a time of 1:36.27, breaking into the Mizzou all-time top-10.

"The relay moved up three places tonight and gave us an exciting look into what's to come. There is no doubt that this will be a very fast meet when our time bested Mizzou's 10th place relay from last year. We are looking forward to some fast 50 freestyles tomorrow morning."

UP NEXT
Three Tigers are set to compete in the 50 free prelims on day two of the Championships on March 17. Thompson will swim as the 13th seed, with Keil as the 22nd seed and Rees as the 67th seed. Mizzou's 200 free relay is set to compete in the day two finals.
