Beijer Leads Tigers in MountainView Collegiate

Noelle Beijer leads the charge for the second consecutive event
TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Missouri women's golf team wrapped up the MountainView Collegiate Sunday afternoon tied for 15th place with Kanas State after posting an event score of a 39-over 903 (303-300-300). Noelle Beijer led the team for the second time in a row after claiming her third top-25 finish of the season.
Beijer fired a 2-under 70 in the opening round followed by a 1-over 73 on the second day. She rounded out the weekend with an even-par 72 despite the prevailing over-20 mph winds. She finished with a 1-under 215, marking her fifth career event under-par.
Both sophomore Emily Staples and junior Brianne Bolden finished with their event-best round score in the final round, posting a 2-over 74 and 3-over 75, respectively. Staples added a pair of 5-over 77s to finish with a share of 65th place while Bolden ended at T-74.
Junior Sophia Yoemans rebounded from her initial 10-over 82 score to fire a 1-over 73 in the second round. She ended up in 80th place while senior Keagan Dunn rounded out the Tiger lineup at T-86. Freshman Hallie Kuhns competed as an individual and left the event in 88th place.
UP NEXT: The women have a quick turnaround as they travel out to Myrtle Beach, SC next week for the Golf Week AGT Collegiate, held from March 28-30.
