
Men's Swim & Dive Wraps Up Day Two of NCAAs

ATLANTA – Three individuals and one relay represented the University of Missouri men's swimming and diving team on the second day of the 2022 NCAA Championships.
Senior Danny Kovac and junior Ben Patton posted times of 1:43.17 and 1:43.75, respectively, in the 200 IM. Junior Carlo Lopez opened the diving championships with a 250.65 on 1-meter. The 200 free relay of senior Jack Dahlgren, junior Kevin Hammer, Patton and Kovac recorded a time of 1:17.24.

"I see a lot of fight left in these athletes, and we plan on coming out swinging tomorrow morning. We are looking for points in the 100 fly, 200 free and 100 breast, and we know we need to get it done in the morning."

UP NEXT
All five individual Tigers are set to compete in the prelims on March 25. Kovac, Dahlgren and Patton will swim the 100 fly, 200 free and 100 breast, respectively. Lopez and sophomore Takuto Endo will both compete on 3-meter. The Tigers will finish day three with the 400 medley relay.
