
Swimming and Diving Opens Season On the Road

Mizzou takes on Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind. on Saturday, Oct. 18
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou swimming and diving will open the 2025-26 season on the road against Purdue on Saturday (Oct. 18) in West Lafayette, Ind.
Competition begins at 10 a.m. in the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center, with live results available via Meet Mobile and Dive Meets.
Last season, both squads found success sending seven swimmers and four divers from the men's squad and six swimmers and two divers from the women's squad to NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
At the championships, Collier Dyer and Tommaso Zannella both earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1-meter and platform diving, respectively.
AGAINST PURDUE
- The men are 2-2-1 all-time against the Boilermakers, while the women are 2-2 against Purdue.
- The Tigers last faced the Boilermakers on Oct. 25, 2024, at Mizzou Aquatic Center.
- Mizzou's men narrowly lost 151-149, while the women's squad fell, 161-139, last season in Columbia.
TIGERS TO WATCH
Dyer finished last season competing at NCAA Championships in 3-meter and 1-meter diving, earning All-American status in 1-meter (March 26-29). Dyer spent his summer competing with USA Diving. The senior claimed bronze in 3-meter synchronized diving at the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay (Aug. 17) and finished 13th at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore (Aug. 1).
Karolina Bank comes off a standout junior season after finishing 10th in the 100 breast at SEC Swimming and Diving Championships (Feb. 17-22) and competing at NCAA Championships (March 19-22).
Luke Nebrich returns to the Tigers after a standout freshman season, qualifying for NCAA Championships (March 26-29) in the 200 medley relay, 50 free, 200 free relay, 100 free and 400 free relay. Nebrich set his career best in the 50 free with 19.02 at SEC Championships (Feb. 17-22).
Junior Zara Zallen finished last season at NCAA Championships (March 19-22) swimming in the 50 free, 200 free relay, 100 breast, 400 medley relay, 100 free and 400 free relay. She set her career best in the 100 free with a time of 47.87 at the Mizzou Qualifier (March 1-2).
Poland native, Jan Zubik, finished 10th in the 200 fly at SEC Championships (Feb. 17-22) and competed at NCAA Championships (March 26-29) in the 200 medley relay, 100 fly and 200 fly.
