Mizzou women's basketball hosts Maryville in an exhibition contest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Mizzou Arena. Admission to the contest is free.
The Tigers are 36-1 in exhibition matchups dating back to the 1999-00 season.
The game will mark the first look at the Mizzou roster under head coach Kellie Harper. In March, Harper became the fifth coach in Mizzou program history. In 20 seasons as a Division I head coach, Harper has led her teams to a 393-260 record with nine NCAA Tournament berths. She has piloted her squads to 15 top-three league finishes and four conference tournament championships. Including her playing career at Tennessee, Harper has 11 seasons of SEC experience. She most recently led the Lady Vols to consecutive Sweet 16 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
Grace Slaughter enters her junior season to headline the Tigers' new-look roster. Slaughter was named the 2024-25 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and ranked 18th in the SEC with 15.0 points and 3.6 rebounds.
The reloaded roster will also feature seven impactful transfer additions, Chloe Sotell (Pepperdine), Jayla Smith (Purdue), Lisa Thompson (Rutgers), Sydney Mains (Florida Atlantic), Shannon Dowell (Illinois State), Jordana Reisma (Cleveland State) and Saniah Tyler (Kentucky).
Maryville marked a 16-15 overall record last season, including a 12-8 record against Great Lakes Valley Conference opponents.
The Saint's roster is headlined by sophomore Lindsey Schadewalt, who had an average of 12.3 points per game last season and was voted GLVC Freshman of the Year.
Maryville is coached by Brita Hand, who has posted a 33-24 record since joining the program in 2022.
