
Wrestling Brings Tiger Style Invite Home to Columbia Sunday

Mizzou wrestling hosts its fourth annual Tiger Style Invite on Sunday, Nov. 9, at Hearnes Center. The tournament comes home to Columbia after being held in Kansas City for the first three years, and invites wrestlers from Little Rock, Oklahoma, Purdue and South Dakota State. Doors open at 9 a.m. CT, with competition starting at 10 a.m. CT. Fans can follow along on FloWrestling or purchase tickets here.
Missouri extended invites back to its wrestling alumni and will pay tribute to Tiger Style legend J'den Cox. Cox, a three-time National Champion for the Tigers and Olympic Bronze medalist, will participate in an unveiling at 9:45 a.m. CT and sign autographs on the concourse at 11 a.m. CT.
INVITE HISTORY
The Tigers finished first last season with 168.5 points and four weight titles. Keegan O'Toole brought home his third invite title, repeating his 2023 performance with a technical fall in the first-place match at 174 pounds. Cam Steed joined O'Toole as the only wrestler to put up bonus points in the finals, securing a fall at 0:40 for his own first-place finish at 165 pounds. Josh Edmond improved upon a second-place finish from the season prior, securing a title at 141 pounds.
In total, 21 of Missouri's 25 wrestlers earned a podium spot in their respective weight classes and tallied 25 bonus-point wins.
TIGERS TO WATCH
The Mizzou probables include 24 wrestlers across the 10 weight classes, including seven true freshmen. Starting at 125, the Tigers look to have Mack Mauger, Luqman Masud and Hank Benter. At 133, both Kade Moore and Boogie Harris are expected to weigh in, while depth will be on full display at 141 pounds with Zeke Seltzer, Owen Uhls, Easton Hilton and Seth Mendoza all slated to compete. Both Josh Edmond and Nate Pulliam will weigh in at 149 pounds, along with J Conway and David Gleason at 157.
Another deep weight for Mizzou, look for Max Mayfield, Joel Mylin, Danny Heiser and Dominic Bambinelli to all compete at 165 pounds. Anticipated to make his debut at 174 pounds is Cam Steed, who will be joined by Jake Stoffel and Peyton Westpfahl. Aeoden Sinclair and Logan Cole are expected to weigh in at 184, along with Evan Bates at 197 and Jarrett Stoner at 285.
