Seven Tigers took top-10 finishes in the finals of their respective events on the last day of the conference championships.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – University of Missouri track and field's Drew Rogers and Jonathan Seremes capped off the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships with event titles in the 3000m and triple jump, respectively, on Saturday at Fasken Indoor Track and Field Facility.
Seremes' historic performance not only placed him first in the men's triple jump at 16.97m (55-8.25) but also beat his previous school record. His result, which claimed a facility record, marked the best collegiate indoor triple jump since the 2023 SEC Indoor Championship.
In the final seconds of the men's 3000m race, Rogers surpassed his competitors to take first and a school-best time of 7:53.61. The junior shaved off 2.39 seconds from his previous best set at the Tyson Invitational to close out the regular season.
In the triple jump finals, Sterling Scott recorded a jump of 15.71m (51-6.5) while Euphenie Andre's best mark was 13.35m (43-9.75). Both placed eighth in their respective competition.
Kristi Perez-Snyman placed fourth with 1.86m (6-1.25), while Claudina Diaz finished fifth at 1.83m (6-0) in the women's high jump. In the women's mile, Rahel Broemmel placed sixth at 4:41.62.
