The Tigers saw four individuals add points to their team totals with top-eight finishes.
LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Missouri track and field's Kristi Perez-Snyman collected the program's first conference women's high jump title after recording a school-record result of 1.90m (6-2.75) on day two of the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at UK Track and Field Complex on Friday.
Perez-Snyman earns the ninth individual SEC outdoor title in women's program history and the second in as many years, following Euphenie Andre's 2024 title in triple jump. The Tigers' women's team stands in sixth with 25 points after the second day of action.
"Kristi competed very strong today," jumps coach Iliyan Chamov said. "We are not surprised by the outcome, as she has been showing consistency at practice and the result was expected. I'm very proud of her and her professionalism."
Claudina Diaz also tallied points for the women, taking fifth in high jump with a result of 1.84m (6-0.5) to garner an additional four points. Perez-Snyman's result earned 10 points for the Black & Gold.
Elijah Limo and Joshua Allison added to the men's team's point total for the meet with their finishes in the 3000m steeplechase. Limo's personal-best time of 8:52.38 earned fifth place and four points, while Allison's seventh-place finish in 8:56.13 gave the Tigers two points. The men head into the final day of action in 11th with 12 points.
