
Cam Steed Earns Big 12 Wrestler of the Week Honors

Mizzou wrestling standout Cam Steed was named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Tuesday, Feb. 10. This marks the first time Steed has earned the honor in his career, and the first weekly award for the program this season. Keegan O'Toole was the last recipient for the Tigers, collected the award Dec. 27, 2024
No. 9 Steed earned his fourth fall of the season against No. 13 Brody Conley of West Virginia at 174 pounds on Feb. 6. The redshirt junior's pin helped No. 20 Mizzou secure a win over the higher-ranked No. 16 Mountaineers with six team points.
The Collinsville, Oklahoma native, has four pins this season with a 9-5 overall record at 174 pounds. Additionally, the fall marks the seventh of Steed's career under a minute.
The Tigers return to the mat against No. 16 Oklahoma on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 pm. CT. The dual will be streamed on ESPN+, while fans attending are encouraged to arrive early, with the Senior Day ceremony beginning at 6:10 p.m. Purchase your tickets here.
