
Jan Zubik and Tanner Braunton Earn All-American Honors for Mizzou Swimming and Diving

Zubik and Braunton join Collier Dyer as the Tigers tally three All-American awards at the end of the NCAA Championships
ATLANTA – Senior Jan Zubik (Wolomin, Poland) and Tanner Braunton (Parker, Colo.) earned All-American honorable mention status, as Mizzou Swimming and Diving finished the NCAA Championships with three All-Americans, on Saturday, March 28, at McAuley Aquatic Center.
Zubik broke his own school record as he finished 10th in the 200 fly, with a time of 1:39.92, while Braunton ended up 11th in the platform dive with a score of 372.30.
"I'm extremely proud of our team and the way they stayed connected and competed with heart all season," head coach Andrew Grevers said. "Their resilience and commitment to one another continue to move our program in a positive direction."
Zubik is the third swimmer in program history to claim All-American status in the 200 fly, while Braunton is the 12th athlete to be named an All-American in platform. Senior Collier Dyer was the 10th Mizzou athlete to become an All-American in the 3-meter, while also becoming the first NCAA Champion in the program's diving history.
Other Tigers competing on the final day of competition include sophomore Luke Nebrich, who finished 35th in the 100 free with a time of 42.42. Nebrich joined junior Francois Malherbe, sophomore Ethan Vance, and junior Darden Tate in the 400 free relay, as the team finished 23rd with a time of 2:52.39.
Outside of Braunton, two other Mizzou divers competed in the platform, with sophomore Derek Colbert and junior Tommaso Zannella finishing in 28th and 34th, respectively. Colbert finished with a score of 308.75, while Zannella ended with a score of 305.10.
