Track and Field’s Limo, Tresnjo, Utecht Lead Tigers During Day Two of SEC Outdoor Championship

The Tigers’ women’s team stands in fifth with 20.5 points heading into the final day of competition.
AUBURN, Ala. – Mizzou track and field continued competition Friday at the 2026 SEC Outdoor Championship, highlighted by scoring performances from Elijah Limo, Brianna Utecht and Marlena Tresnjo at Hutsell-Rosen Track Complex.
Limo delivered a personal-best performance in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing fifth in 8:36.22 to score four points for the Tigers. Junior Joshua Allison also added to the men's team total with an eighth-place finish in 8:40.21.
Utecht added another point to the women's total with an eighth-place finish in the heptathlon. The junior closed the competition with marks of 5.72m in the long jump, 32.95m in the javelin and 2:22.32 in the 800-meter run.
In the women's high jump, junior Tresnjo tied for fifth after clearing 1.76m to contribute 3.5 points to the Tigers' team score.
Missouri also saw several strong performances in the women's 1,500-meter prelims. Sophomore Kobi Walker posted a personal-best 4:22.18, while senior Allison Newman recorded a personal-best 4:27.21. Sophomore Charlotte Cullen added a personal-best effort of 4:24.02, and senior Brianna Lee ran 4:24.07.
On the men's side, senior Lasse Funck advanced to Saturday's 1,500-meter final after running 3:46.73 in prelims. Joseph Bariolafinished 16th in 3:47.25, while Drew Rogers placed 17th in 3:47.37.
Senior Robert Hines competed in the men's 100-meter prelims, crossing in 10.50. In field action, Chase Crawford placed 16th in the men's shot put with a mark of 17.05m, while Sam Albert finished 17th at 16.62m.
