2023-2024 (Senior): Posted a career-best 74.19 stroke average in 21 rounds during her final campaign • Finished six rounds under par, her best average for a season • Sunk a hole-in-one on the 181-yard 15th hole during the Evie Odom Invitational • Carded three rounds under par, her best in a fall season • Fired a career-best round score of five-under 67 on the second day of the Johnie Imes Invitational • Ended with a 75.50 career stroke average after four years with the program through 93 total rounds placing herself in 11th for career scoring average in Mizzou history books.
2022-2023 (JUNIOR): Led the team in scoring average with a 74.19, posting the 12th best all-time individual season average and lowest since 2019-20 • Clinched her first career top-5, placing third at the Johnie Imes Invitational with a 1-over 217 event score • Fired her second career event under par (2-under 211) at the Battle at the Beach for her second top-10 finish • Recorded new career-low event (211) and round (68) scores, marking the best on team for the season • Tallied the most birdies (66) and rounds of par or better (9) on the team for the year • Tallied a top-15 finish at the FAU Paradise Invitational after firing a pair of 3-under 69s to end even-par overall • Paced Mizzou's lineup for the third time on the year at the Westbrook Invitational where she carded her 10th career round under par • Finished second on the team in the final two events -- The Bruzzy and the SEC Championship.
2021-2022 (SOPHOMORE): Was featured in the Tiger lineup for all eight regular season events and the SEC Championship • Carded her first two career rounds under-par in the first two season events in the fall • Kicked off the year by recording her career-best 54-hole event score at the Same Golden Invitational with a 5-over 221. • Fired a career-low 2-under 70 in the opening round of the Johnie Imes Invitational to go on to claim a season-best T-33 finish • Opened the spring with a career-best event at the FAU Paradise Invitational • She fired two of the three rounds under-par (70-69-76) to finish with a 1-under 215, marking her new career-low round and event scores, as well as tallying her first ever 54-hole event under-par • Rounded out the last regular season spring event, the Golfweek AGT Intercollegiate tied for 32nd after shooting a 14-over 230 • Made her second appearance at the SEC Championship where she finished tied for second on the team with her performance highlighted by her first round 2-over 74 • Finished the season with a 75.63 season scoring average, putting her in the third-best spot on the team • She also racked up a total of 53 birdies on the year.
2020-2021 (FRESHMAN): Competed in all four spring season events including the SEC Championship • Made her career debut at The Ally where she placed third on the team after carding a 15-over 231 • Kicked off the spring campaign right by clinching her season-best finish tied for 30th place at The Match-Up • Her 13-over 229 featured back-to-back 75s followed by a 79 • Wrapped up her first year on a high-note at the SEC Championship where she fired her season-low 54-hole event score of an 8-over 224 • Staples’ showing was held down by an even-par 72 in the last round after recording a pair of 76s • Ended the year with a 78.33 scoring average.
