Robert Trombley was hired as the Director of Football Creative Content at Mizzou on January 5, 2023. As a Creative Director, Robert oversees all internal and social media creative content alongside the Director of Creative Branding. As well as the Mizzou Football Creative Video Department.
Prior to Mizzou, Robert had been the Football Creative Director at three previous programs: UConn, LSU, and Miami (OH). In 2022, UConn had the largest social media growth of any FBS football program. With a 305% increase in interactions in 2022 compared to 2021. Robert’s staff documented and promoted one of college football’s greatest turnarounds, as UConn jumped from a 1-11 season in 2021, to a 6-6 bowl eligible season in 2022.
During the 2021 season Robert worked as the Director of Recruiting Creative for LSU Football. Where he led creative efforts in on-campus recruiting and digital marketing towards potential student athletes. Robert spent the 2019 and 2020 seasons at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he served as the Director of Football Video and Design for the RedHawks. When hired, Robert became the youngest Video Coordinator in all of FBS Football. He also served as the team’s Creative Director, responsible for all social media and recruiting content. The Miami RedHawks won the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championship during Robert’s tenure.
In 2018, Robert served as a Broadcast Director and Media Intern for the Bismarck Larks of the Northwoods Summer Collegiate Baseball League. That season the Larks won their first division title and clinched their first playoff birth in franchise history.
Robert graduated from Bowling Green in May of 2019 with a degree in Visual Communication Technology. Robert is a native of Twinsburg, Ohio, and graduated from Twinsburg High School in 2015.
