Hall of Fame

Nikki Thole
- Induction:
- 2006
- Class:
- 2000
Thole was the first big star of the Missouri soccer program that began in 1996, and fittingly was the first soccer player inducted into MU’s Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame. A native of St. Louis, she came to Mizzou in 1997 and became the first Tiger to earn all-America recognition. She was a second-team honoree by multiple outlets as a junior in 1999 when she scored a school-record 23 goals and helped lead MU to a 14-8-1 record and its first NCAA Tournament berth. She was a three-time first-team all-Big 12 honoree (1998-2000) and was a second-team all-Big 12 selection as a freshman. Thole was named to the Big 12 all-tournament team three times (1998-2000) while leading the Tigers to three consecutive appearances in the championship game. She still holds virtually every MU single-season and career scoring record including career points (151) and goals (61).
