
@MizzouSwimDive Hosts Mizzou Last Chance Meet

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou men's and women's swimming teams will host the two-day Mizzou Last Chance Meet, Saturday, Feb. 24 to Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Mizzou Aquatics Center. Preliminary action gets underway at 10 a.m. both days, with finals slated for 5 p.m. The meet represents one last opportunity for the Tigers to drop time in hopes of qualifying for the 2018 NCAA Championships next month. Admission to the event is free.

Last week, the Tigers posted finishes of fifth (men) and sixth (women) at the 2018 Southeastern Conference Championships. Over the five days, the Tigers set six school records and recorded four individual top three finishes, nine individual top five finishes and 17 individual top eight finishes. Two Tigers, junior Jacob Wielinski (Mounds View, Minn.) and senior Hannah Stevens (Lexington, Ky.), earned runner-up honors in their respective events.
