- Three of Mizzou's four Big 12 Wrestler of the Week recipients will be competing in Tulsa. O'Toole, Surtin and Kent will all be on the mat for the Tigers. In addition to redshirt freshman Sean Harman, Mizzou let the conference with five weekly award recipients – one of only five schools nationally to do so.
- The Tigers return eight wrestlers from last season's MAC Championships, including 2021 MAC Champions Keegan O'Toole and Rocky Elam. 2020 MAC Champion Jarrett Jacques will also wrestle at the conference tournament.
