
Diving Packs Podium at Georgia Tech Diving Invitational

Tigers claim podium spots in five of six events.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri diving concluded a successful run at Georgia Tech Diving Invitational Saturday, as the Tigers reached the podium in five of six events, winning two of them, over the three-day event in Atlanta.
The first day of competition saw Collier Dyer win gold in men's 3-meter diving with a score of 428.80 followed by Tanner Braunton in second with a 392.20 score. Senior Gabriela San Juan Carmona reached finals in women's 1-meter diving and concluded with a fourth-place finish (277.65).
Mizzou continued to be strong in the second day of competition, sending four women to 3-meter finals and two men to 1-meter finals. Mia Henninger claimed bronze in women's 3-meter diving with a 291.95 performance. She was followed by Megan Jolly in fourth (289.85), San Juan Carmona in fifth (288.05) and Jazzelle Eikermann Gregorchuk in sixth (282.30). Braunton picked up another podium finish in men's 1-meter diving after putting up 362.80 to finish third. Dyer followed in fourth with a score of 351.80
The Tigers closed out the invite with two more podium finishes in platform diving. Braunton won men's platform diving with a final score of 399.90 while Eikermann Gregorchuk took silver in women's platform diving after putting up a 289.85 performance. On the men's platform, Tommaso Zannella finished fourth (339.40) and Dyer came in seventh (319.75). For the women, Henninger took fourth (242.30), San Juan Carmona finished fifth (231.85), Jolly took eighth (212.40) and Olivia Liddle finished twelfth.
UP NEXT
Both the swimming and diving squads will compete in the Mizzou Invite, November 20-22. Competition will begin from inside Mizzou Aquatic Center at 9:30 a.m. for prelims and conclude at 5:30 p.m. for finals. The meet will be streamed on SEC Network+, and admission is free and open to the public.
