COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics has announced that long-standing partners Central Bank and Mpix will be featured on Norm Stewart Court at Mizzou Arena beginning this men's and women's basketball season, representing investment that strengthens the connection between Mizzou Athletics and Mid-Missouri.
The partnership with Central Bank and Mpix, a digital photo printing company owned by Miller's Professional Imaging, reflects Mizzou Athletics' dedication to collaborating with organizations that demonstrate innovation and a strong commitment to the local community.
"We're incredibly grateful to Central Bank and Mpix for their support and belief in what Mizzou Athletics means to this community," said Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch. "These partnerships show how working together can benefit everyone involved. Central Bank and Mpix are trusted local leaders who understand the impact Mizzou has across this region, and their commitment helps us strengthen the bond between our teams, our fans and the broader Missouri community."
Ed Scavone, President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Bank of Boone County, said the partnership reflects the company's deep investment in the community's success. Central Bank, headquartered in Jefferson City, was founded in 1902 and features 140 locations across the Midwest. The Central Bank logo will be featured along the south sideline of Norm Stewart Court opposite Mizzou's bench.
"The success of Central Bank is closely tied to the success of all the communities in which we do business," Scavone said. "When they grow and prosper, we grow and prosper. The University of Missouri is by far the strongest driver of mid-Missouri's economic success and athletics plays a key role in delivering that message."
Richard Miller, Chief Executive Officer of Miller's Professional Imaging, said the company's support of Mizzou Athletics reflects its commitment to homegrown excellence. The Mpix logo will be featured along the north sideline, near the visitor's bench.
"Mpix and Miller's are proud to call Columbia home, and we take great pride in partnering with Mizzou Athletics to showcase our community's spirit and talent on a national stage," Miller said. "This collaboration reinforces our belief in the power of teamwork, creativity and local investment — all things that make both our company and Mizzou special."
The new court logos will debut when the Mizzou men's basketball team opens its home schedule Friday, November 7 against Southeast Missouri State (7 p.m.), followed by the Mizzou women's basketball team's next home game, Tuesday, November 11 against Arkansas State (6:30 p.m.)
"As Missouri-based businesses and long-term supporters of Mizzou Athletics, Central Bank and Mpix are the perfect partners to showcase their brands on Norm Stewart Court at Mizzou Arena. They have a passion for supporting Mizzou Athletics, strengthening our community, and serving Tigers fans everywhere, and we are proud to expand these incredible partnerships," said Josh Pell, General Manager at Mizzou Sports Properties.
Last year, Mizzou was among the nation's first collegiate programs to feature corporate logos on its football playing surface, taking advantage of the NCAA's 2024 rule revision that now allows sponsored logos directly on the field. All Mizzou Athletics sponsorship agreements are managed by athletic media rights holder Mizzou Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield, the media and technology company powering college athletics.
