
Diving Concludes Successful Run at Air Force Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri diving wrapped up a strong performance at the Air Force Invitational Saturday, as the Tigers took first place and had at least two divers reach the podium in five of six events over the three-day event in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Day one of competition saw Gabriela San Juan Carmona win the women's 1-meter and Collier Dyer capture the men's 3-meter competition. San Juan Carmona scored 299.60 and Dyer earned 368.90 to reach the top of the podium.
The Mizzou women swept the women's 3-meter podium on the second day of the invitational. San Juan Carmona earned her second gold with a 342.90 score, while freshmen Megan Jolly and Mia Henninger rounded out the podium with scores of 306.95 and 302.55 for second and third place, respectively.
Dyer notched his second first-place finish with a 363.95 performance in the men's 1-meter. The Littleton, Colo., native, also reached the podium in the men's platform with a score of 375.90 to take third.
Henninger and Jolly each added another podium finish in women's 1-meter and women's platform, respectively. Henninger took silver in the platform with a 244.90 score, and Jolly earned bronze in the 1-meter with a performance of 282.25.
Tommaso Zannella completed Mizzou's string of victories with a podium-topping score of 380.60 in the men's platform on the final day of competition. Zannella also picked up third-place finishes in both the 3-meter and 1-meter competitions, scoring 329.15 and 316.30, respectively.

The Mizzou swimming and diving squads will compete in the SEC Championships, Feb. 17-22, in Athens, Ga.
