Men’s 4x100 Record Top-10 Time in Mizzou Track & Field History to Conclude Yellow Jacket Invitational

The Tigers claimed the 4x100 title while four additional individuals recorded new personal bests.
ATLANTA – University of Missouri track and field's Robert Hines, Kaden Hammer, Izaiah Hill and Steven Marks entered the school's record books in men's 4x100 meters to cap off the first outdoor meet of the year at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Saturday at the George C. Griffin Track in Atlanta.
The men ran 40.51 seconds to claim the No. 9 spot in program history. In addition to the 4x100 top-10 time, four individual personal records were broken.
In the men's 400m, Izaiah Hill's new best time of 48.34 earned him ninth in the race. The Tigers dominated in the men's and women's 200m with Brooke Sawatzky (25.76), Emanuelle Bellanova (22.75), and Robert Hines (21.65) all picking up personal bests.
The day began with the field events, where junior Anna Vedral's 3.55 (11-7.75) ranked seventh overall. In discus, Ames Burton recorded a throw of 49.91m, ultimately finishing fourth in the invite. On the men's side, Skylar Coffey finished second in discus with 57.03m.
