
Tigers Claim Top Three Spots in Mizzou History in 10,000m After Day One of Raleigh Relays

Junior Drew Rogers took both the school record and 2025 national lead in the 10,000m.
RALEIGH, N.C. – University of Missouri track and field's Drew Rogers, Tyler Freiner and Austin Popplewell took the top three spots in the 10,000m in school history on Thursday at the Raleigh Relays at Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
Rogers' time of 28:14.27 took first place at the race, nationally and the top spot in school history. Freiner moves up to second in school history after finishing in 29:03.18 while Popplewell's 29:18.89 pushed him into third.
Joshua Allison and Jamie Mora also earned top-five times in school history in their respective races. Allison finished the 3,000m steeplechase in 8:51.66 to claim fifth in the record books, while Mora's time in the 5,000m of 14:00.51 claimed third.
Freshman Elijah Limo also entered the school's record books, logging 8:53.32 in the 3,000m steeplechase to take the seventh-best time in Mizzou history. Trevor Peimann (9:04.07) and Louie Endres (9:11.17) both earned personal bests on Thursday in the 3,000m steeplechase as well.
