
Women’s Golf Heads to SEC Championship

University of Missouri women's golf turns its attention toward the postseason with the SEC Championship starting on Monday morning.
TOURNAMENT INFO
The tournament begins on Monday morning with three-straight days of stroke play, starting at 7 a.m. CT.
The top eight schools during stroke play advance to the quarterfinals of match play, which is set to begin Thursday morning at 7 a.m. CT. The semifinals follow on Thursday afternoon with the championship on Friday at 9 a.m. CT on SEC Network.
COURSE OVERVIEW
For the second-straight year, the championship will be held at Pelican Golf Course, a par-70 course that measures 6,254 yards in length.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
One of the most competitive leagues in the country, the SEC features three schools ranked in the top 10, a total of 10 in the top 25 and 14 in the top 50.
VERSUS SEC FOES IN 2024-25
The Tigers have played eight SEC foes during the 2024-25 campaign, owning victories against Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma this season. In the last two tournaments alone, Mizzou has finished ahead of Alabama twice and Oklahoma once – two schools ranked in the top 50 nationally.
SEC CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
The Tigers are competing in the SEC Championship for the 12th time in their history since first joining in the league in 2013. Mizzou has advanced to the league quarterfinals once, doing so during the 2018 championship.
Last season, the Tigers placed 14th as a team with Fleur van Beek recording the top individual finish of 41st – the best finish by a Mizzou freshman since Jessica Yuen in 2017.
