SEC Announces Mizzou’s 2026-29 Conference Opponents

The Tigers schedule will feature Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M as annual opponents
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference announced Mizzou's league opponents and game sites for the 2026-29 football seasons on ESPN2 and the SEC Network Tuesday evening.
The Tigers 2026-29 football schedules will feature three annual opponents – Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. These annual opponents were determined with consideration given to traditional rivalries, competitive fairness, geography and alignment with existing non-conference home/away commitments.
The SEC's nine-game conference schedule begins in 2026 season. In the new format, each SEC school will play every other SEC school at least once every two years, and every opponent home and away over four years. The SEC will continue with a single-standings, non-divisional structure.
In 2026, Mizzou will host five SEC home games with Florida, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M visiting Memorial Stadium. MU will travel to Arkansas, Georgia, Ole Miss and Mississippi State in 2026. The following year, Missouri will host Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee and Vanderbilt while traveling to Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas A&M.
The 2028 season features home contests Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M with road games at Florida, Kentucky, Texas and Texas A&M. In 2029, Mizzou welcomes Alabama, Arkansas, LSU and South Carolina to Faurot Field while hitting the road for games at Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
SEC athletics directors established several stated priorities to build the schedules, including traditional rivalries, rotational frequency, competitive fairness and CFP participation. The annual opponents will be evaluated after each four-year cycle to maintain continued competitive balance.
In addition to the conference opponents, SEC teams are required to schedule at least one additional high quality non-conference opponent from the ACC, Big Ten or Big 12 conferences or Notre Dame each season.
The complete 2026 SEC Football schedule, to include dates of games, will be announced later this year.
