COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou women's basketball junior guard Abbey Schreacke has been named to the 2025-26 SEC Community Service Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Schreacke headlined Mizzou's community outreach efforts with 30 hours of service this year. In coordination with the Columbia Public School District, the junior gave back to youth in the city as a recess and lunch mentor and served as a pen pal for local students.
Schreacke served community members during multiple initiatives at Turning Point Homeless Shelter. During the holiday season, Schreacke and some teammates provided gifts to families in need through the Salvation Army's adopt-a-family program.
Throughout the year, she served food to community members alongside the Knights of Columbus. In addition, the junior participated in a food drive benefiting The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri.
The Quincy, Illinois native gave back to youth in her home city through a local basketball camp at her high school, Quincy Notre Dame.
It is the second consecutive year Schreacke has been the Tigers' honoree. The junior is currently pursuing a degree in elementary education.
