
Women's Basketball Adds Nevaeh Caffey From Indiana

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou women's basketball has signed transfer guard Nevaeh Caffey from Indiana, head coach Kellie Harper announced on Tuesday.
Caffey started all 32 contests for the Hoosiers and averaged 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
"Nevaeh is a rising star whose work ethic and mentality will elevate our program," Harper said. "It's important for our staff to prioritize in-state talent and keep Missouri at the forefront—we're excited to bring Nevaeh home!"
She scored in double figures 12 times, including the last eight of nine games to finish the season. Caffey scored a season-high 18 points in a victory over Penn State on Feb. 28.
A native of Warrenton, Mo., Caffey was the No. 65 recruit in the class of 2025.
A four-star prospect, Caffey was a four-year standout at Incarnate Word Academy, where she won four-straight Missouri Class 6 State Championships and was named 2025 Miss Show-Me Basketball. While with the Red Knights, the program set a national record for consecutive wins during her tenure, winning 139 games in a row to set the record.
In her senior season, she averaged 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game and was a third team All-American honoree, Class 6 All-State Player of the Year and named Class 6 first team All-State.
Caffey is the second transfer portal addition of the 2026 offseason for the Tigers.
