
Track and Field Wraps Up Raleigh Relays

The women’s distance group represented the Tigers across two events.
RALEIGH, N.C. – Mizzou track and field finished the final day of the Raleigh Relays with the women's distance squad running in two events on Friday at Paul H. Derr Track Facility.
RECAP
Freshman Morgan Yeomans led the women in the 1500m, notching 63rd with a 4:25.99 in her collegiate debut of the event. Brianna Lee followed in 78th, securing a personal best of 4:27.17. Allison Newman also achieved a personal record, placing 119th with a 4:31.19.
Suzy Lecoutre and Kobi Walker were slated to run the 5000m, but weather cut the race short at 3400m. Within the heat of 16, Lecoutre finished in eighth with a time of 11:00.48, with Walker following in ninth with a 11:01.32.
