
Men's Basketball Hosts No. 20 Arkansas Saturday on Senior Day

The Mizzou men's basketball team is set for one final game at Mizzou Arena this season, hosting SEC rival Arkansas in the regular-season finale. Senior Day tipoff is set for 11 a.m. on ESPN.

• Saturday's contest is a Gold Rush with all fans encouraged to wear their best Tigers gold.
• Following the game, Mizzou will honor its seniors during its annual Senior Day ceremony.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Mizzou owns a 20-10 overall record with a 10-7 mark against SEC schools.
• The Tigers have won six of their last nine games to move into fifth place in the league standings.
• Senior Mark Mitchell leads the Tigers with 17.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
• Three Tigers are scoring in double figures with five recording at least nine points per game – Jayden Stone (13.7), Trent Pierce (10.6), Anthony Robinson II (9.3) and Jacob Crews (9.0).

SENIOR DAY
• Following the game on Saturday, the Tigers are set to honor nine students as they participate in their final game at Mizzou Arena.
• Five players will be honored in Jacob Crews, Mark Mitchell, Shawn Phillips Jr., Jevon Porter and Jayden Stone.
• The five players have combined to appear in 547 games during their collegiate careers with 5,721 points, 2,577 rebounds, 674 assists, 337 steals and 336 blocks.
• The Tigers are also set to honor four student managers in Kyle Benson, J.J. Fuller, Bryce Marquart and Brandon Truong.
SEC TOURNAMENT POSSIBILITIES
• With just one game remaining in the SEC regular-season campaign, Mizzou can still earn anywhere from the fourth to 10th seeds for next week's conference tournament.
• With a Mizzou win Saturday and a Vanderbilt victory over Tennessee, the Tigers earn a bye into the quarterfinals as the No. 4 seed.
• With a Mizzou win and a Tennessee victory, MU finishes as the No. 5 seed.
• With a loss Saturday, the Tigers are slated to be seeded anywhere from fifth to 10th, depending on other results.
RESUME METRICS
• Playing No. 20 Arkansas, Mizzou aims to continue to build a strong resume for the postseason.

JOINING THE MIZZOU 1K CLUB
• Mark Mitchell is nearing more history as a Tiger.
• The senior has tallied 981 points in two years at MU is just 19 points shy of 1,000 points during his Mizzou career.
• Mitchell would become the 49th player to reach the milestone as a Tiger and just the eighth to accomplish the feat after two seasons at Mizzou.
• Overall, Mitchell has tallied 1,681 points during his collegiate career with Duke and Mizzou.
SEC COMMUNITY SERVICE TEAM
• Trent Pierce was honored for his work off the court on Thursday as he was named to the SEC Community Service Team.
• A team captain, Pierce leads all Tigers in volunteer hours during his time at Mizzou.
