
Men’s Golf Hosts Tiger Intercollegiate

The Missouri men's golf team is set to host the Tiger Intercollegiate Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, welcoming 18 schools to Columbia for the tournament at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
TOURNAMENT INFO
The tournament will tee off at 8 a.m. CT with a shotgun start. The schools are set to play two 18-hole rounds on Monday, with one final round the next day, with the same 8 a.m. CT shotgun start.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Club at Old Hawthrone is set to host the tournament with the par-70 course measuring 7,158 yards long. Admission is free to the tournament.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
Joining MU on the course is Central Arkansas, Central Michigan, Drake, Illinois State, Iowa State, Kansas, Lamar, Missouri State, Nebraska, Oral Roberts, Saint Mary's, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Tarleton State, UTRGV, UTSA, Wichita State and Xavier.
TIGERS AT HOME TOURNAMENT
The ninth version of the Tiger Intercollegiate at The Club at Old Hawthorne, Mizzou has won five of the previous eight championships on its home course (2017, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2025)
In 2025, the Tigers finished in first place with an even score, eight shots ahead of second place. In addition, Mizzou took home the individual crown when Mattias Varjun won his first collegiate individual title, finishing with a score of -4 to win by four strokes.
MU also won the individual title in 2024 when Jack Lundin finished with a -13 score to win the tournament by two strokes.
SENIOR DAY
Virgilio Paz is set to play in Columbia for the final time. Paz is a three-year member of the Tigers, averaging a 73.39 stroke average throughout his career with the Tigers.
