
Track and Field’s Barrios Earns First Team All-American Honors to Close NCAA Championship Final

The senior collects her second consecutive First Team All-American award with a fourth place finish.
EUGENE, Ore. – Missouri track and field capped off the season with Valentina Barrios earning First Team All-American honors for women's javelin on Thursday night at Hayward Field.
RECAP
Barrios notched fourth with a 57.17m (187-6), her third best result of the season. The senior was named a First Team All-American for the second year in a row after claiming the javelin title at last year's event. This marks the seventh consecutive season that a Missouri women's javelin athlete has earned All-American status and eighth all-time.
Skylar Ciccolini, in her fourth NCAA Championship Final, finished 19th in the event with a mark of 48.82m (160-2).
