
Morgan Porter Concludes Season at NCAA Championships

Porter tallied a 39.1125 in the all-around at the Championships
FORT WORTH, Texas – Freshman Morgan Porter (Overland, Missouri) of the Mizzou gymnastics team concluded her decorated inaugural season in black and gold at the NCAA Championships Friday afternoon at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing as an individual all-arounder, Porter tallied a 39.1125 on all four events.
Rotating with Minnesota in the first semifinal session, Porter opened her day on floor in the first rotation and notched a 9.7875 on the event.
In the second rotation, Porter tallied her highest event score of the afternoon, a 9.8125 on vault to tie for 20th overall. After a bye, she then scored a 9.800 on bars in the fourth rotation, good enough to tie her for 24th on the event.
The freshman concluded her season on beam, where she went 9.7125 on the apparatus.
